Golden trevally ("carangue jaune")

Golden trevally (Gnathanodon speciosus ) has a fine flesh but large ones may give ciguatera. When at the juvenile state it is a tiny fish with black and yellow strips. The juvenile fish, curiously, seek protection with large predatory fish and even from man when he swims. They place themeselves just under the googles when the swimmer moves or at his side when he stops!
