The Spangled emperor ("bec de cane")

Spangled emperor (Lethrinus nebulosus) is a 50 to 80 cm long fish. It lives on sandy or grassy bottoms. Calédonians call it "bec de cane" or "bec". Its flesh is excellent, particularly marinated with lime.
